Scarlet's dam arrived here last November to board with us for the winter. When it came time to make the journey home to Whitehorse, she was simply too huge to travel the 30 hours. Lucky us, we got to foal the mare out for her owner and Scarlet arrived one Monday morning in the sunshine. The set of legs on this filly, the incredible bone were evident right from birth and she was affectionately called Moose. It was my lucky day when her owner decided to sell Scarlet for I was more than halfway in love with my first Warmblood foal and I am beyond excited to watch this great filly grow up. She is the spitting image of her sire, Zeno a 17 hh Chestnute Imported KWPN, Approved CWB & CSHA (QuattroB x Burggraaf)
Scarlet's dam is out of a leopard appy mare named Peppered Hancock, a line of appy's that did hunter/jumper events. Scarlet's dam's sire was an American Warmblood named Mystic Tyme. He died young, only age 6. He was out of a Hanovarion mare named Magic who competed high level dressage before becoming a broodmare and produced a few registered and approved sons. Mystic Tyme's sire was a Trakener stallion named Always.
